Course Details
Plyometrics is widely used in human sports medicine and fitness to assist with all types of athletic programs, including speed, endurance and power with jumps. The same principles may be applied to the conditioning of dogs. The workshop will discuss: the definition of plyometrics, pre-requisites and safety issues, preparing for plyometrics, and three levels of plyometrics. Three levels of exercise will be reviewed - from beginniner to advanced. For a working spot, the team will be able to choose which program is most applicable to their level.
This workshop is appropriate for all active dogs. Active will include walking, hiking, competing, playing, dog sports, working dogs, and all playing!
