Course Details
This workshop goes over several types of dog training equipment available on the market. Different harnesses, collars, head halters, muzzles, leashes and their uses, and more. We will go over usage tips for each item, including their pros and cons, and discuss how to introduce them to dogs for the first time.
We will also briefly examine ethical considerations regarding what’s best for humans versus what’s best for their dogs.
Class Syllabus:
- What’s on the dog’s body: harnesses, collars, head halters, muzzles, leashes
- Safety gear against attacks from unknown dogs (break sticks, sprays, etc.)
- Training gear (food dispensing machine, slow feeder, stuffed dogs)
