Course Details

This workshop builds on the steps outlined in "No give, only throw" which detailed out how to use 2 toys to get a toy return from a throw, as well as a drop at your feet. We will be concentrating solely on the Tugging part of toy play, and working through the steps of how to create reinforcing play for your dog learner, how to enable your dog and build confidence in the tugging game and how to add structure. We'll cover the physical signals of "bring back to tug", and if you have the skills from the chase workshop (no give, only throw), then how to add behavior cues. This workshop will be best for dogs that already like to grab and tug on things, and isn't suitable for dogs that have no interest in toys.
